65 Vines Winery
While our acre of (Marquette) vines will take a few years establish and mature prior to our first harvest, we hope to produce excellent wine, have stellar customer service, and provide an outstanding vineyard/winery experience to all visitors!
Initially we may have to source grapes and juice locally (or even regionally) within the U.S., but we will strive to produce quality products in a pleasant environment.
Localvore – drink, eat, and think “locally”. We hope to make our wines a blend of some estate grown vintages and others from locally sourced grapes harvested at our partnering vineyards. While taste is subjective, we encourage people to try the area’s hybrid grape varieties, which are cold weather hardy. A couple of Wisconsin’s most promising wine grapes are Marquette and La Crescent. Marquette gets various levels of spice and tannins to make a variety of excellent reds. La Crescent offers amazing bouquet and citrusy flavors.
